Filipendula vulgaris

The flowers are similar in appearance to Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) but this native perennial prefers dry well drained calcareous soils.

Flowering period: May to August

Height: 40 – 60cm

Planting site: Dry, well drained soils in full sun.
