Cichorium intybusA beautiful bright blue perennial found growing on roadsides and waste ground across Britain. The root is prized as a vegetable in Continental Europe where it also grown as animal fodder. The flowers are particularly attractive to Hover Flies.

Height: 30 – 120cm
Planting site: Full sun on most soil types.
